Dobok / Uniform & Belts

White & Coloured Belts
The ITF dress code rules for 10th - 1st Kup have to be observed. Competitors may only wear White Doboks (uniform), any brand desired is permitted, but no other colours are allowed. All competitors must wear a belt.
Black Belts (1st to 3rd Dan)
The ITF dress code rules for 1st – 3rd degrees have to be observed. Black Belts need not be plain, and can have competitor name or club details.
Black Belts (4th to 6th Dan)
The ITF dress code rules for 4th – 6th degree Doboks have to be observed. Black Belts need not be plain, and can have competitor name or club details.

Sparring Equipment

Headguard
MANDATORY ITEM

White & Coloured Belts: Any brand and colour is permitted (it need not be red or blue). Must not cover the competitors face.

Black Belts: All Black Belt competitors must have both a Red and Blue headguard to compete in the Sparring Division.
Sparring Gloves
MANDATORY ITEM

Any brand and colour is permitted (it need not be red or blue). Must be open palmed semi-contact gloves.
Sparring Boots
MANDATORY ITEM

Any brand and colour is permitted (it need not be red or blue).
Mouthguard
MANDATORY ITEM

Competitors are encouraged to wear a colourless transparent mouth guard.
Groin Guard (Males)
MANDATORY ITEM

Compulsory for all male competitors and must be worn inside the Dobok trousers.
Groin Guard (Females)
Optional for all female competitors
Shin Guards
Optional for all competitors but recommended. Must be worn inside the Dobok trousers.
Chest Protector (Females)
Optional for all female competitors

All safety equipment must be made of soft materials, provide enough protection for both acting competitors and be of an approved type by the organising committee. In case of uncertainty, the Head Umpire will have the final decision.
